The alma GmbH has been producing kitchens at its headquarters in Ahaus in the Westphalian Münsterland since 1971. Up to 15 highly individual fitted kitchens are produced daily in its own factory, and up to 30 per day for larger contract projects; over 50 years of company history, more than 400,000 kitchens have been sold. The range extends from classic, modern, handle-less and country-style kitchens to tiny kitchens, barrier-free custom builds and contract kitchens for hotels, holiday homes and apartments. Materials processed include solid woods such as oak and Alpine larch, as well as worktops made of granite, quartz stone, quartz composite, ceramic, Dekton, laminate, natural stone and glass. The entire value chain is in one hand: consultation and millimetre-precise measurements in the 12 own kitchen studios in NRW with a total of 6,000 m² of sales space, production in Ahaus, and delivery and installation including appliance integration and connections, without any intermediaries. Around 176 employees handle planning, manufacturing, transport, assembly as well as services such as old-kitchen disposal, modernisation, replacement-parts and repurchase service.

Alma grants a 10-year guarantee on all kitchen furniture parts as well as a 5-year repurchase guarantee on furniture parts. Since the kitchens are manufactured in-house, matching spare parts are permanently available; production takes place in Germany by the company's own skilled workforce.
