About Alma Maschinenbau
Alma Maschinenbau GmbH is a Swiss manufacturing partner for demanding precision parts, based in Reiden, Canton Lucerne. The company was founded in 1973 in Wolfwil and has been based in Reiden since 1974. Core competencies are the milling of complex precision parts on 5-axis machining centres as well as large parts up to 4000 x 1200 mm, and the turning of chuck parts up to 420 x 1000 mm with driven tools, Y-axis and bar feed up to 85 mm. The offering is complemented by surface grinding, keyway slotting, sawing, surface treatment, and the assembly of assemblies and complete systems including parts management, inspection checklists and function tests. Steel, aluminium, copper, cast iron and stainless steel are processed. NC programming is carried out in-house with Mastercam. Since 2006, Albert Wiersma has been running the company in the second generation.
