About Almec Sàrl

Almec Sàrl is a machine shop (atelier de mécanique) in Collombey-Muraz in the canton of Valais, specialised in the manufacture of complex mechanical parts to customer drawings. Its value chain includes CNC machining on various machining centres (4-axis/5-face and 5-axis simultaneous machining with a Matsuura MX-520), surface milling on one of the largest CNC surface milling machines in the canton, complete sub-assembly assembly including series assembly, as well as services such as maintenance, repair, breakdown service and machine or spindle overhauls. The company is already involved in the design phase through simultaneous engineering (CAD/CAM) and, on request, handles complete project management from procurement through manufacturing and heat treatment to turnkey assembly. Customers come from mechanical engineering and the precision supply industry; delivery takes place within Switzerland. Quality assurance is carried out, among other things, with a motorised 3D measuring machine installed in 2023 with a measuring range of 1000 x 600 x 500 mm.

Quality

Almec specifically invests in a quality and measurement environment for precision realisations; inspection is carried out, among other things, with a motorised 3D measuring machine (measuring range 1000 x 600 x 500 mm). The company's own machine fleet is regularly checked and reset to manufacturer standards in order to guarantee the required precisions.
