About Alois Bader AG

Alois Bader AG is an owner-managed family business from Central Switzerland, based in Emmetten (Canton of Uri), specialising in plastics technology, drinking water tanks and demanding pipeline construction. In tank construction, the company produces drinking water reservoirs, wastewater tanks, well chambers, spring shafts, valve and pump shafts made of HDPE with capacities up to 100 m³, interior diameters up to 3000 mm and lengths up to 23.2 m. Production includes CAD design, project-specific CAD/CNC programming, CNC machining and plastic welding of HDPE, PP and PVC, including butt welding and electrofusion sockets. In pipeline construction, the company installs PE pipes in the large-diameter range (Ø 110–560 mm), ductile cast iron pipes and PE ventilation pipes, including installation at difficult-to-access locations. Customers include water utilities, wastewater associations, energy providers (lake energy), municipalities and the public sector, particularly in Uri, Nidwalden, Lucerne, Bern, Valais, Thurgau and Schwyz. The company has been SQS-ISO 9001 certified since 2003 and is certified for drinking water tanks in accordance with SVGW.
