About Interbau-Blink
Alois Korzilius Interbau Fabrikation für moderne Baukeramik GmbH & Co. KG (Interbau-Blink) is a traditional ceramics manufacturer from the Kannenbäckerland in Ransbach-Baumbach in the Westerwald. The product portfolio includes residential ceramics (floor and wall tiles, brick slips up to 70 × 35 cm), the large-format tiles of the GIGA-Line® brand produced since 2017 in sizes up to 260 × 120 cm, as well as object and industrial ceramics and architectural ceramics for pool, spa & wellness applications with around 100 basic contours. Production uses mineral raw materials such as Westerwald clay, chamotte and feldspar, processed by extrusion technology (strand pressing) or pressing, followed by drying, digital printing, glazing, firing at up to 1200 °C and dry calibration. The GIGA-Line® production line operates according to Industry 4.0 principles with autonomous logistics, a 440-tonne hydraulic press, a 1.6 m wide digital printer and a 41 metre long dryer. The products are used in swimming pools, thermal baths, laboratories, chemical plants, beverage filling plants and international projects; deliveries are made within Germany and internationally. The corporate group is owned by the Uta Korzilius-Kern Foundation.
