About us
Alois Maibaum Metallbearbeitung GmbH is an owner-managed family business for metalworking that has been established for over 50 years and is based in Kirchlengern (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company manufactures parts and assemblies as a contract manufacturer in CNC turning, CNC milling and wire EDM as well as conventional turning and milling. The service portfolio also includes grinding, welding of welded assemblies, surface treatment, plastic injection-moulded parts and assembly. All metals and plastics are machined. The machine park comprises 8 CNC lathes, 9 CNC milling machines, 4 conventional lathes, 1 conventional milling machine and 5 EDM machines; in wire EDM, cutting paths of 1,000 x 750 mm are possible with a cutting height of up to 600 mm. With this machine park, the company responds flexibly to special customer requirements and tight deadlines, even for urgent repairs.

Wire EDM
Electrical discharge machining with 5 machines, cutting paths up to 1,000 x 750 mm with cutting heights up to 600 mm, wire Ø 0.25 mm or 0.1 mm for fine contours.
EDM turning
EDM-based special machining including the use of a dividing head.
Welding
Production of welded assemblies using TIG and MIG/MAG processes.
Plastic injection moulding
Production of plastic injection-moulded parts.
