eCeramica (Alpas Euro) is a manufacturer and exporter of ceramic and porcelain tiles as well as large-format slabs with over 15 years of manufacturing experience. Production takes place at the Indian site of Morbi, while Alpas Euro GmbH, based in Hamburg, is responsible as head office for sales and customer service in Europe; another office of the Happe Group is located in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, and a showroom in Noida (India). Manufacturing includes the preparation of ceramic bodies in the spray dryer (SACMI), Continua+ Compaction Technology for slabs with widths up to 1200 mm, heights up to 3200 mm and thicknesses of 6, 9 to 15 mm, digital decoration in the single-pass process (Durst Gamma 148XD, print width up to 1400 mm), firing in SACMI kilns with a 5-layer dryer as well as polishing on KEDA systems. Spanish and Italian glazes are used for GVT tiles and undergo incoming inspection. Quality checks are performed at every production stage with photo and video documentation, and the results are made available to customers in real time. Products are packed in high-quality cartons on pine wood pallets, secured with new strapping and airbags; shipments to EU customers are made as FOB container deliveries with an own loading team.
