Founded in 1961, alpha-chem GmbH is a specialty printer based in Öhringen (Baden-Württemberg) specializing in labeling media for the textile care industry. The product portfolio comprises combo cards, intake books, lost-property bags, pickup slips, work cards with ironing hole, long labels, shirt cards, till receipts, receipt rolls, laundry printed forms, barcode forms, marking and stain tags, tailoring forms, labels for individual item tagging as well as ten-packs of cards, supplemented by custom-made products. Production is carried out exclusively on boil-proof, non-fading original HYDROFIX® paper in eleven colors and various dimensions; the printing ink used is resistant to dry cleaning and washing. On a production area of 1,900 m², 20 printing presses operate in the print hall; the bookbindery has three collating machines and one perfect binder. The capacity allows labeling of up to 4.5 million garments per day. Customers are dry cleaners and laundries in Germany and abroad; a dedicated contact is available for export.
