About AlphaESS
AlphaESS is a global provider of battery energy storage solutions headquartered in Nantong, China. The company develops and manufactures storage systems for residential, commercial and industrial applications as well as utility-scale projects, complemented by hybrid inverters, EV chargers, balcony power systems and portable power stations. The products are based on LFP battery cells (LiFePO4) and include system components such as battery modules, inverters and energy management systems (EMS); for large-scale storage, AlphaESS relies on liquid-cooled 20-ft containers with up to 5 MWh. Manufacturing takes place at sites in Nantong and Kunming on over 150,000 m² of production space; development is carried out, among other places, in Suzhou. Via the proprietary AlphaCloud monitoring platform, systems are monitored around the clock worldwide, remotely updated and integrated into virtual power plants (VPP). With more than 60 subsidiaries, AlphaESS supplies customers in more than 130 to 140 countries; the European headquarters is located in Eschborn near Frankfurt.
