ALPINION Medical Deutschland GmbH, based in Hallbergmoos near Munich, is the German sales and service subsidiary of the South Korean ultrasound manufacturer ALPINION MEDICAL SYSTEMS (founded in 2007 in Seoul as VIMED, known as ALPINION since 2010, part of the ILJIN Group). The parent company develops and manufactures complete diagnostic and therapeutic sonography systems as well as an extensive portfolio of transducers developed and produced in-house, including high-density single-crystal probes with X+ Crystal Signature technology. The X-CUBE and E-CUBE systems cover the entire spectrum of ultrasound diagnostics, from high-end color Dopplers and compact systems to portable point-of-care devices, featuring proprietary core technologies such as X+FIT beamforming, X+Focus and FullSRI. Since 2011, a nationwide sales and service structure with partners has been in place in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; since 2016, Hallbergmoos has also served as the European service hub. Offerings include maintenance contracts (by call, Basic, Premium, Premium+), repairs, the CUBE-Connect remote service and electrical safety testing in accordance with VDE0751/EN62353. Showrooms in Hallbergmoos, Lippstadt, Mettmann and Rotenburg provide personal product consulting for practices and clinics.

Maintenance includes an annual system check with special tools and measuring equipment as well as electrical safety testing in accordance with VDE0751/EN62353. The CUBE-Connect online remote service is available as standard on all ALPINION systems; the Premium+ package includes 24h service or loaner systems.
