About Alpnach Küchen
Alpnach Küchen AG is an independent Swiss family business based in Strengelbach AG that has been producing custom kitchens made to measure for private customers, specialist retailers, architects and general contractors since 1999. Individual pieces through to larger series are manufactured on around 5000 m² of production and warehouse space using modern manufacturing technologies, at a capacity of around 1800 kitchens per year. Production includes carcass construction from melamine-resin-coated wood-based panels with 13 mm grooved and glued rear panels, edge banding with 1 mm ABS thick edges, UV-lacquered fronts, industrially veneered solid wood panels, as well as an in-house carpentry department for custom work such as niches, bar counters and table elements. Worktops made of natural stone, granite, ceramic and quartz composite are also individually manufactured. Assembly is carried out by more than 600 specialist retail partners, complemented by its own customer service with warranty and service. The company employs 60 staff and belongs to the alpnach norm Group with three production facilities in Switzerland.

History

Theo Breisacher leaves his home for Switzerland on 17 May 1954.
- 1966
Founding of Möbelfabrik Alpnach AG by Theo Breisacher; design of an extension system for cabinets (8 widths, 2 heights, 3 depths).
- 1987
Daughter Brigitte Breisacher joins Alpnach Norm-Schrankelemente AG at the age of 19.
- 1999
Founding of Alpnach Küchen AG with head office and production site in Strengelbach AG; takeover of the team (approx. 30–35 people) of the insolvent K-Küchen in Bannwil.
