About us
ALPS.Robotics is the civilian robotics brand of NEXOS.Group, headquartered in Traunstein, and develops and manufactures unmanned ground systems (UGV) for fire brigades, plant fire departments, plant inspection and critical infrastructure. The core product is the PALLAS series of unmanned tracked platforms in six sizes from 75 to 2,400 kg unladen weight with 37.5 to 1,200 kg payload; the PALLAS.75 is available as a series product, while other sizes are in prototype production or on the roadmap. Manufacturing includes CNC-milled aluminium housings and drive wheels, which are black anodized or powder-coated, as well as assembly, control and software development (KyROS, ROS 2) at the Deggendorf site. In addition, OEM assemblies such as tracked drives and drive modules for vehicle manufacturers, autonomy retrofit kits and lifecycle services are offered: maintenance according to DIN 31051, engineering and approval (risk assessment according to EN ISO 12100, CE), operation and rental, as well as operator training. The control architecture is designed for a European supply chain without Chinese components. Cooperations exist with TH Deggendorf and Fraunhofer FKIE.

Additional services
Quality & Approval
The engineering services include application-specific risk assessment according to EN ISO 12100, conformity assessment and CE documentation according to the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, as well as sensor calibration. No certificates are awarded; the control concept separates safety-relevant vehicle functions deterministically from learning-based processes.
