About Alpvolt
Alpvolt Schweiz AG is an owner-managed Swiss company for battery storage solutions, founded in Zurich in 2023. The company develops, distributes, installs and maintains storage systems for customers and partners in Europe – from home storage units starting at 10 kWh, through the AC Powerbox series (215–261 kWh per unit, cascadable to over 3 MWh), to liquid-cooled container solutions from 1 MWh (up to 5 MWh per container) as well as DC fast-charging stations from 60 to 480 kW. Production of the lithium batteries under the Thanksun manufacturer brand is carried out by the production partner in Shenzhen with 7 production lines and a capacity of over 6 GWh per year; customer-specific requirements are coordinated directly with production, including Factory Acceptance Tests. The batteries consist of cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP). Consulting, load profile analysis, planning and calculation are handled by the team in Zurich (Weberstrasse 3); the warehouse in Mägenwil ensures short delivery routes in Europe. Installation and commissioning are carried out through a partner network of certified specialist companies, complemented by monitoring, maintenance contracts (SLA), Energy Management System (EMS) and FCR marketing. Customers come from agriculture, SMEs/trade, industry, grid operators, charging parks/e-mobility as well as residential and senior residences.
