About the Alte Schlossfabrik
The Alte Schlossfabrik is a restored 18th-century manufactory that operates as an event venue below Schloss Burg in Burg an der Wupper. The historic building complex is located in the tri-city area of Remscheid, Solingen and Wermelskirchen in the Bergisches Land region. According to its own figures, around 7 crew members have carried out 117 events for 6,828 guests. In four differently designed spaces – Festsaal (banquet hall), Lounge, Grotte and conference room – weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, product presentations, graduation balls, trade fairs, seminars and Christmas parties are planned and executed, whether in a small circle or on a grand scale. The venue is barrier-free and accessible; 360° virtual tours of the Festsaal and Lounge are available online. The Alte Schlossfabrik was awarded the Wedding King Awards in 2023.
