About Altec GmbH
Altec GmbH is a mid-sized family-owned company based in Weißenhorn (Bavaria) that has been manufacturing high-precision cable assemblies and wire harnesses for over 30 years – from assembled individual wires and complex connector assemblies to complete wire harnesses. The focus is on prototypes, pre-series and small series in lot sizes from 1 to over 1,000 pieces, manufactured entirely in Germany. On a production and warehouse area of around 1,600 m², a modern machine park with crimping and soldering technology is in use; quality is ensured through continuous testing with documentation and traceability as well as an in-house cross-section laboratory. The processes follow IPC/WHMA-certified standards. The company, founded in 1993 by Raymond Reis as a cable assembler and distributor of electronic components, has been run by Christina Laubel in the second generation since 2006. In addition to manufacturing, Altec offers support with design and product optimization with regard to integrity, function, reliability and cost, as well as consulting for prototypes and pre-series. Customers come primarily from the electronics and electrical engineering industry.

Quality
The quality of every cable and wire harness assembly is ensured through continuous testing with documentation and traceability. The in-house cross-section laboratory analyzes, among other things, crimp cross-sections; the processes are certified to IPC/WHMA-A-620.
