About ALTEC Aluminium-Technik
ALTEC Aluminium-Technik GmbH, founded in 1985, is a manufacturer of aluminium scaffolding, docking systems for aircraft and helicopters, work platforms, stairs, and machined aluminium industrial parts. The company manufactures exclusively in Germany at its Mayen site (Rhineland-Palatinate), including welded constructions made from high-strength aluminium alloys such as EN AW-6005A T6 and EN AW-6060 T66 as well as components made from hot-dip galvanized steel. Its value chain includes sawing, CNC milling, laser cutting, bending, drilling, punching, riveting, and manual and robotic welding; as a certified welding specialist company, ALTEC is certified to EN 1090-2 and EN 1090-3. Since 2018, fully automatic Fronius CMT welding robots have been in use, and since 2023 a BLM LT7 tube laser for tube processing. Customers come from aviation (civil and military), rail vehicle, bus and commercial vehicle manufacturing, as well as industry, plant engineering, trades and construction; around 40 employees produce series products and custom fabrications to customer specifications.
