About Altendorf

Altendorf GmbH, headquartered in Minden, develops and manufactures sliding-table saws and edge banding machines for craft businesses and industrial manufacturers. Founded in 1906 by Wilhelm Altendorf in Berlin, the company decisively shaped the machine category of the sliding-table saw with the Altendorf system (workpiece lying on a sliding table). The product portfolio comprises the F 30, F 35 and F 45 sliding-table saws and, since the integration of Hebrock (2018), edge banding machines of the F series (F 2, F 4, F 5) and K series (K 34, K 36, K 37), which will be produced entirely in Minden from autumn 2026. Materials processed include wood, wood-based materials, plastic and aluminium; edge banding is performed with EVA or PUR adhesive or, optionally, adhesive-free using AirTronic Zero-Joint hot-air technology. With the AI- and camera-based safety system HAND GUARD, certified as the first system of its kind worldwide with the GS mark, and the NEXUS IIoT digital platform, the company complements its machines with safety and digitalisation solutions. With subsidiaries in Australia, China, India and the USA, the Altendorf Group employs around 400 people and distributes through a worldwide dealer network.
