About Altendorf

Altendorf GmbH, headquartered in Minden, is a manufacturer of woodworking machines focused on sliding table saws and edge banding machines. Founded in 1906 by Wilhelm Altendorf, the company developed the first sliding table and cut-off saw; the F 45 product, internationally known as the 'Altendorf', remains the core product to this day. The product range includes the F 30, F 35 and F 45 sliding table saws as well as the F- and K-series edge banding machines (F 2, F 4, F 5, K 34, K 36, K 37), some of which trace back to the Hebrock brand acquired in 2018. The machines process solid wood, wood-based panels, plastics and aluminium. The portfolio is complemented by the camera-based safety assistance system HAND GUARD, the digital networking offering NEXUS IIOT, as well as service, spare parts service, training and remote maintenance. Since September 2026, the complete machine manufacturing has been consolidated at the headquarters in Minden; another production site exists in Qinhuangdao (China). The group employs around 300–360 people and is represented with sales and service locations in Australia, Brazil and India.
