About Althaus Etiketten
Althaus Etiketten GmbH produces self-adhesive labels and identification solutions for industry, trade, commerce and logistics – also in small quantities. The product range includes inventory labels, barcode labels, type plates, safety labels, company stickers, blank labels and DIN-A4 sheet goods as well as thermal transfer printers and ribbons. Production is carried out using thermal transfer and digital printing (up to 1400 dpi) on a rotary printing and die-cutting machine as well as a die-cutting and laminating system. Materials include PET, PVC, PE, PP, PS, acetate, paper, aluminium and stainless steel; material components from 3M and Flexcon provide resistance to oils, chemicals, alkalis and outdoor weathering. Further processes include 3D doming, laser engraving, laminating, die-cutting and digital film cutting. In addition, the company offers consulting, design and sampling on the object. The company is headquartered in Höhndorf in Schleswig-Holstein.

Materials and Processes
Polyester film (PET)
Durable film for inventory and barcode labels, especially for outdoor use.
Vinyl film (PVC)
Flexible film for safety labels and inspection tags.
PE
Plastic film for thermal transfer labels.
PP
Plastic film for thermal transfer labels.
PS
Plastic film for thermal transfer labels.
Aluminium (anodised plates)
Robust type and serial plates with sequential numbering and barcode for demanding conditions.
Stainless steel
Dimensionally stable plates with high solvent and temperature resistance for heavy permanent use.
Two-layer plastic material
Engravable material in which the top layer is removed by material removal.
Paper (coated/uncoated)
Material for blank labels and DIN-A4 sheet goods.
Security film (VOID/checkerboard pattern)
Tamper-evident film that leaves visible manipulation marks when removal is attempted.
Self-destructing document film
Disintegrates when removal is attempted, making labels tamper-proof.
Material components from 3M and Flexcon
High-quality components from leading manufacturers for resistance to chemicals, oils and weathering.
