About Altkotec

Altkotec GmbH was a company specializing in the manufacturing of machining tools, based in Kernen im Remstal. Since its founding in 2017, the company produced machining tools for medical technology as well as high-precision standard and special tools for mechanical engineering and the automotive/supply industry. In addition, Altkotec acted as an OEM partner for several tool manufacturers, particularly in the field of special tool manufacturing. Production was carried out exclusively in solid carbide from manufacturers from Japan, Austria and Germany; combined with optimized geometries and PVD, CVD and diamond coatings, high performance and long tool life were achieved. Manufacturing took place on CNC tool grinding machines (including Rollomatic); tool measurement was performed on high-end measuring machines. Altkotec GmbH was a subsidiary of schreurs Tools GmbH and a member of the FDPW and VDWF. On 15.05.2026, the company was deleted following its merger with Schreurs Tools GmbH.
