About Altmark-Mühle Fuchs GmbH

Altmark-Mühle Fuchs GmbH is a small mill with a long milling tradition spanning five generations, located in Groß Garz in the northern district of Stendal. The company mills exclusively regional wheat and rye from farmers as well as spelt into flours of various types, from Type 405 to wholemeal flour, both conventional and in organic quality. The product range also includes wholegrain coarse meal (Backschrot) in fine, medium and coarse grades as well as wheat and rye flakes and edible bran. Customers are bakeries, the baking industry, confectioneries, pizza bakeries as well as restaurants and hotels with their own bakery; for household use, common types are filled in 1-kg small packs. Delivery is as bagged goods in packaging sizes of 1, 25, 40 and 50 kg or as silo goods between 1 and 27 tonnes. On request, the mill supplies flours without added ascorbic acid or with additional baking enzymes, and sees itself as a member of the regional marketing chain.
