About ALTRAD Hofmaninger

ALTRAD Hofmaninger GmbH is an Austrian company founded in 1945 with its production facility and headquarters in Bad Wimsbach (Upper Austria), and has operated under the umbrella of the ALTRAD Group since its acquisition in 2011. The focus is on the manufacture of slide boxes with deep-drawn tubs made of sheet steel, which are full-bath hot-dip galvanized, electro-galvanized or powder-coated; in addition, plastic tubs made of HDPE, PP and polyethylene are produced, as well as manhole covers, snow shovels, transport carts and aluminium scaffolding. Production includes deep drawing on 400-t presses, sheet metal working, welding (including welding robots), surface finishing and automated series assembly on fully automatic lines. Customers include construction, building materials trade, agriculture and garden/municipalities; the company, among other things, produces tubs for Ravendo and TrallNor and achieved around one million parts per year in contract manufacturing. Quality and production follow the principle of "Made in Austria".
