About us

Alu-Bau GmbH, based in Büdelsdorf (Schleswig-Holstein), has been a supplier and manufacturer of aluminium floating docks for around 50 years. The dock systems, designed on a modular principle, can be implemented in numerous configuration variants thanks to simple construction and installation; the berth width is continuously adjustable, enabling optimal use of space in marinas. The product range extends from boat dock systems in harbour areas to bathing facilities and rafts, carrier platforms and rental dock systems, through to platforms for research and science as well as canoe and rowing dock systems. In addition to manufacturing, the company also handles the design and installation of the systems. As a certified welding specialist company in accordance with DIN EN 1090, Alu-Bau manufactures with CE marking according to a Europe-wide valid quality standard. Reference customers include, among others, watersports clubs, boat rental companies, tourism services and a Fraunhofer Institute.
