About Alu-Point
Alu-Point is a medium-sized company founded in 1987 and based in Harsum, Lower Saxony, that combines materials trading, precision cutting and manufacturing into a complete solution. The company supplies semi-finished products made of aluminium, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, engineering plastics (thermoplastics and thermosets) as well as special materials such as titanium, sintered materials, clad materials (Cu/Al) and carbon fibre. In its in-house cutting service, plates up to 150 mm, round stock up to 500 mm and profiles up to 200 × 320 mm are sawn, slotted and deburred – with tolerances down to ±0.1 mm. In addition, Alu-Point coordinates the manufacturing of customer-specific drawing parts including CNC machining, supplementary manufacturing processes and surface treatment – from single parts to series production. With its own stock warehouse and logistics, the company handles stock keeping, picking, assembly and shipping according to customer requirements, thereby reducing interfaces in industrial procurement.
