About Alu-Trend Fassadenbau
Alu-Trend Fassadenbau GmbH from Weilbach (Miltenberg district, Bavaria) has manufactured aluminium building components entirely in-house since 2001 – from profile cutting to installation. The product range includes aluminium windows and doors (entrance doors, side entrance doors, lift-and-slide doors and folding doors), glass facades in post-and-beam construction including structural glazing, conservatories, patio roofs, balustrades and fall protection in aluminium, steel and stainless steel, as well as garage doors, fire and smoke protection doors up to T90, burglar-resistant elements up to resistance class RC3, sun protection and insect protection. The workshop is equipped with modern machinery from elumatec, including an SBZ 130 profile machining centre, DG 104 double mitre saws and an AKS 134 machining centre. CAD-based planning, structural calculations, manufacturing, installation as well as maintenance, repair and refurbishment are provided from a single source. Customers include private, commercial and public clients, particularly in the Spessart, Odenwald and Rhine-Main region, including schools, town halls and sports halls. The company is a supervised manufacturing plant under ÜZ Bavaria for fire protection closures (Schüco ADS80 FR30/FR60).

Quality & Certification
Production is carried out under in-house production control with external surveillance by the Überwachungsgemeinschaft Bayern e.V. (ÜZ body ÜG 051) for fire protection closures. Fire and smoke protection doors are manufactured exclusively as products with building authority approval, tested to DIN standards.

History
- 2001
Founded by Elmar Berberich; purchase of the property on Hartungsstraße in Weilbach, construction of the workshop building with machinery, start of production in August with 3 skilled workers, construction of the office building in autumn.
- 2002
Purchase of the elumatec SBZ 130 profile machining centre for efficient, automated production.
- 2005
First large, technically demanding projects with a focus on refurbishment of public facilities such as schools.
- 2008
Florian Berberich joins the family business after completing his training; first international orders (residential house Moscow, residential and commercial building in Austria).
- 2010
Florian Berberich becomes managing partner; early initiation of succession.

Florian Berberich passes his master craftsman examination at the Chamber of Crafts of Lower Franconia.

Realisation of 5 public school refurbishment contracts in the Spessart and Odenwald region, installed during the school holidays.
