Aluminium Werbung Information GmbH (AWI), based in Barntrup, manufactures information and presentation systems in its own workshop production. The product range includes display cases for indoor and outdoor use, combined display case and mailbox units, poster and illuminated showcases, boulevard showcases, citylight poster cases, poster and sliding-door display cases, partition wall systems, wall and freestanding showcases, hooded and table showcases as well as complete shop and museum fittings. In addition, the company assembles digital display systems such as displays, digital information steles, touch-screen solutions and outdoor enclosures with integrated climate control unit. Production is carried out on a commission basis to customer specifications such as schedules of services, sketches or drawings, both as standard showcases and as custom solutions; glass and plexiglass are used as cover materials. Production takes place on approx. 1000 m² of production space at the Barntrup headquarters. Customers include retailers from the furnishing and advertising sectors, public institutions such as museums, schools and universities, municipal and local authorities, as well as customers from industry and trade.
