About Höfert
Alwin Höfert Fabrikation von Spezial-Dichtungen KG is a manufacturer and supplier of O-rings and special seals based in Ammersbek near Hamburg. The family business, founded in 1963 by Alwin Höfert, is now run by the third generation and produces elastomer and PTFE products at its own sites in Germany and northern Italy as well as through a branch in Switzerland. The product portfolio includes O-rings made of FKM and FFKM (heat-resistant up to 320 °C), PTFE seals such as piston rings, shaft seals, flat gaskets and bellows, as well as FEP- and PFA-encased O-rings with cord thicknesses from 1.5 to 31.7 mm. In addition, cord rings, X-rings, rotary shaft seals, rubber molded parts, micro-precision O-rings and coated O-rings are manufactured. In-house compound development in the laboratory, precise toolmaking and 100 % inspection ensure product quality – even for the smallest quantities. On 12,000 m² of production and warehouse space in Ammersbek, more than 30,000 items are available from stock, which can be shipped the same day. Customers are found primarily in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries as well as food technology.
