About AM-Rauch

AM-Rauch GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1961 by Wilfried Rauch as a carpentry workshop and has specialized since 1994 in 4-axis CNC milling of thermosets and thermoplastics, partly with robotic input. In 2013, the company expanded its portfolio to additive manufacturing by purchasing an EOSINT P800 for PEEK HP3 in the powder bed process using laser technology (PBF-LB/P, also called SLS). As a service provider, AM-Rauch processes high-temperature, medium-temperature, and low-temperature plastics such as PEEK HP 3, PEKK Cf, PPS, PA6, PP, and PA11 for prototypes, pre-series, small series, as well as series production. Customers come from medical technology and mechanical engineering; in the AMPFORS research project, together with OHB System AG and Fraunhofer IST, parts for aerospace were metallized. At the Baden-Baden location, the company also consults on laser sintering-compatible design and custom materials.
