The company group, founded by Ambros Schmelzer in 1913 and managed in the fourth generation, headquartered in Waldershof (Bavaria), manufactures industrial pipelines, plants such as chimneys, cyclones, furnaces, and filters, modular pipe systems for bulk material transport, components for grain storage and aeration, and large dynamically balanced welding assemblies for the automotive industry. Production includes 2D laser cutting (up to 6,000 × 2,000 mm), beveling up to 6 m in length and 10 mm thickness, round bending, robot and automatic welding, blasting, painting, and dynamic balancing. Materials include steel, stainless steel, and aluminum; the in-house tooling and mold construction complements press and stamping manufacturing. Main production is in Waldershof (Plant 1, 2, 4) and Chodová Planá (Czech Republic); further locations in Bulgaria, Ukraine, Latvia, Spain, and India serve for sales and assembly.
