The ames wiring GmbH is an owner-managed company with its location and manufacturing in Ursensollen, Bavaria, producing cable assemblies and electrical wiring systems for prototypes, small series and series production. The service portfolio includes cable assembly engineering and routing (circuit diagrams, 3D routing, manufacturing drawings, bills of materials), CAD/CAE, FEM and product development, automation and special machine construction, fixture construction, as well as production and assembly. The technological focus is the in-house developed automated cable assembly production line, which enables cost-effective manufacturing in Germany. Cable assemblies are considered the result of a continuous process from digital data foundation, engineering, manufacturing, testing and possible automation. Customer industries include mechanical engineering, commercial vehicles, agricultural and construction machinery, wind turbine construction, automotive, AGV/MHS and automation technology. The company emerged from the bundling of werthner GmbH and ams reichert GmbH (founded 2022, headquartered in Neumarkt i. d. OPf.); the idea of automating cable assembly production goes back to Siegfried Reichert, who worked for almost 40 years in the automotive cable assembly industry.
