Conveyor Technology and Intralogistics from Luckenbach

AMI Förder- und Lagertechnik GmbH was founded in 1987 and is based in Luckenbach in the Westerwald. The company develops, plans, produces and implements individual components as well as complete intralogistics solutions, from light conveyor technology such as roller and belt conveyors through heavy-duty conveyor technology with chain conveyors to robot-based automation units as well as storage and order-picking machines. With a vertical range of manufacture of over 87 percent, conveyor systems and special-purpose machinery are largely produced in-house, complemented by the development of the WLS Warehouse Logistics software based on 24-volt technology. The systems are used, among other things, in mechanical engineering, medical technology, pharmaceutical wholesale, e-commerce, retail, and the paper and plastics industries. Completed projects in European and non-European countries attest to the company's international orientation. A 24/7 service with maintenance and spare parts delivery supports the systems throughout their entire life cycle. In April 2026, an application for insolvency proceedings was filed with the Montabaur Local Court; the proceedings are under preliminary insolvency administration and a sale of the company is being sought.
