About AMKON
Amkon GmbH was founded in 1993 as an engineering office in Hutthurm near Passau and is today a mid-sized partner for engineering, machine and plant construction as well as CNC manufacturing technology. At the Hofkirchen-Garham site, the company manufactures fixtures, tools and test systems as well as special machines for automated industrial production on approx. 4500 m² in three production halls. The services include project planning and design at twelve SolidWorks CAD workstations, electrical engineering with control cabinet manufacturing and PLC programming, mechatronic assembly as well as waterjet cutting and CAD/CAM-supported CNC single-part production. In the CNC series machining division, cast and forged parts are produced in annual quantities of 1,000 to 1.5 million pieces. Customers include companies from the automotive industry, special machine construction, toolmaking, fixture construction and plant engineering. Around 70 employees work at the site; annual revenue is approximately €10 million.
