About Ammonigy
Ammonigy GmbH develops and produces decentralized ammonia cracking systems that split ammonia into hydrogen at the point of use. By blending in hydrogen, ammonia can be used CO2-free in combustion processes – for example in engines of heavy-duty commercial vehicles, construction machinery and ships, as well as in industrial process heat and gas-powered combined heat and power units. The core component is a patented, self-heating NH3 cracker that produces the required hydrogen only at the point of use and on demand, so that a second fuel tank is not needed. Ammonigy supports customers throughout the entire decarbonization process: from feasibility studies, engine conversions, cracker design and physical integration to the delivery of systems including maintenance, service and exhaust gas aftertreatment to comply with emission limits. The company was founded in 2020 in Stuttgart in cooperation with the Sonic Group in order to bring the WHS developments to market maturity.

Media and Processes
Ammonia (green ammonia)
A fuel that can be used without CO2 emissions and can be economically stored and transported in liquid form.
Hydrogen
Produced decentrally via NH3 cracker and ensures the necessary combustibility of the ammonia-hydrogen gas mixture.
