About amotec
amotec AG, based in Münsingen, specialises in the construction of demanding process engineering plants and complex piping systems. Active in piping and plant construction for decades, the company processes all stainless steels in its own workshop on site – «Swiss made» with all services from a single source: engineering, material procurement, fabrication, installation and maintenance. Its customers come from industries that convey, dose, mix, separate or clean liquid to solid media, primarily from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and chemical industries. References include plants for CSL Behring and Celgene as well as a multi-storey steel structure with a 3-tonne powder mixer for additive manufacturing. Since November 2021, amotec together with partner Invert Robotics has offered non-destructive crack testing using robots on spray dryers, tanks and vessels, including repair by certified welders and industrial climbers. The company is part of the JAG corporate group, which employs over 230 staff in total in Switzerland, the Czech Republic and overseas.
