AMOVA GmbH, headquartered in Hilchenbach (North Rhine-Westphalia), develops and manufactures intralogistics systems for the steel and non-ferrous metals industry, air freight terminals and container ports. The portfolio includes high-bay storage systems, automatic coil transporters, coil and pallet conveyor systems as well as packaging lines, complemented by warehouse management software and discrete event simulation for material flow scenarios. The company delivers complete logistics systems from a single source – from planning through manufacturing and installation to maintenance, modernization and after-sales service. Heavy and bulky loads such as steel coils, aluminum coils, sea containers and air freight are handled. AMOVA has implemented reference projects among others at Aluminum Dynamics (USA), Çolakoğlu Metalurji, Assan Alüminyum, Shougang Jingtang, Henan Mingtai Aluminium, APERAM, Gebr. Kemper and Bridgnorth Aluminium. The company, which has around 120 employees, is part of the SMS group.

Carl Eberhard Weiss laid the foundation for today's SMS group, and thus also AMOVA, with a hammer forge/smithy operation in Siegen.
From this operation, SIEMAG Siegener Maschinenbau AG in Dahlbruch evolved.
AMOVA (formerly also SMS Logistics or SIEMAG) has been active in the field of intralogistics for 70 years.
