About Amphenol Tuchel Industrial
Amphenol Tuchel Industrial GmbH (ATI), headquartered in Heilbronn, is part of Amphenol Corporation, one of the world's leading manufacturers of electrical interconnect technology with over 140,000 employees in more than 50 countries. The company develops and manufactures plastic and metal connectors, high-current contacts and industrial cable assemblies including overmolded assemblies, Y-splitters and extension cables. The portfolio includes series such as the A-Series, heavy|mate, eco|mate, motion|grade, signal|mate, charge|mate for CCS2 and MCS charging solutions, as well as Radsok high-current contacts with currents up to 400 A and voltages up to 4000 V. In product development, manufacturing-relevant criteria are considered early on through FEM simulations and injection molding simulations. Production takes place at the Czech site in Ostrov, where a new production hall was occupied in 2023; in Heilbronn, sales, product management, development, customer service, purchasing and IT are located. The solutions are used, among others, in automation technology, electromobility, agricultural and construction machinery, telecommunications, medical technology, rail technology, renewable energies and event technology. Sales and distribution networks extend across more than 40 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the USA and Asia.

Materials and Processes
Plastic housings
Waterproof, robust connector housings for harsh environmental applications, among others in the A-Series and eco|mate.
Metal housings
Shielded, vibration-resistant metal housings, e.g. in motion|grade M23/M40 and signal|mate M16-D.
Copper (cable)
Conductor material of the cable assemblies with cross-sections from 0.14 mm² to 150 mm².
Injection molding simulation
Method used in development for early consideration of manufacturing-optimized housing design.
FEM simulation
Calculation method for designing optimal interconnect solutions from the very first development steps.
