About AMPLITUDE
AMPLITUDE was founded in 1997 in Valence (France) and is a French company in the field of orthopaedic surgery of the lower extremities. The company develops and markets implants for hip and knee surgery, including acetabular cups, femoral stems, knee endoprostheses as well as bone cement and instruments. The computer-assisted surgery system AMPLIVISION and the orthopaedic surgical robot ANDY were developed in-house. Implants and instruments are developed internally in the company's own design offices in collaboration with surgeons; each implant is mechanically validated before market launch using models and simulator tests, in accordance with the requirements for CE marking. AMPLITUDE controls and inspects the manufacture of its prostheses and instruments itself. The company is represented in more than 30 countries and, in addition to its headquarters in Valence, operates subsidiaries in Switzerland (Ostermundigen) and Germany (Nieder Olm).
