About AMS Software & Elektronik
AMS Software & Elektronik GmbH is a full-service EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) provider based in Flensburg, Schleswig-Holstein. The company develops and produces populated printed circuit boards as the heart of electronic products – from circuit and PCB layout development through software and firmware development to series production. The electronics production employs automatic SMD placement with up to 171,000 components per hour, manual placement (THT) at wave soldering and selective soldering systems, as well as BGA placement; the process is completed, depending on requirements, by potting, conformal coating or sealing. The in-house mechanics department designs (CAD) and manufactures CNC turned and milled parts on four- and five-axis centers from Deckel-Maho and Cronum – in steel, stainless steel, engineering plastics and machinable non-ferrous metals. The range of services also includes prototype and rapid prototyping manufacturing, device assembly, component sourcing, material logistics, packaging and shipping. With over 35 years of experience and around 100 employees, AMS serves industries such as energy technology, power electronics, telecommunications, building services and the public sector – from one-off pieces and small series to large series, also as a sub-supplier or extended workbench.
