About AMTRON
Amtron GmbH was founded in 2000 as a spin-out of the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology and develops and manufactures electronics for the precise control of diode lasers. The portfolio includes laser diode power supplies of the CM100 series with output up to 24 kW, the CU190 process controller with control cycle times of 1 µs, kiloampere drivers of the CM380P series up to 2000 A, laser diode controllers of the CS400 series, and LS400 systems for the direct material processing of plastics and metals. All products are designed at the Aachen site, in the immediate vicinity of RWTH Aachen, and manufactured by skilled professionals using selected components for 24/7 continuous operation. In addition to the standard portfolio, AMTRON supports customers with custom and OEM developments through all phases from requirements analysis to the end product. Customers include laser manufacturers, system integrators, and R&D specialists from industries such as machining, medical technology, the automotive industry, and scientific research; customers on five continents are supplied.
