Company
AMZ Weissenseer Präzisionsguss GmbH is a specialised industrial service provider for die casting based in Berlin-Weißensee, whose roots go back to the Weissensee Guss AG founded by Hugo Stinnes in 1926. The company produces ready-to-install cast parts and assemblies in aluminium die casting (cold chamber process) and zinc die casting (hot chamber process) in standard and special alloys with blank part weights from 0.005 to approx. 5 kg (aluminium) and up to 1.5 kg (zinc). The value chain encompasses development and design with casting simulation, in-house toolmaking, casting on ten die casting cells, CNC machining, surface treatment such as shot blasting, vibratory finishing and laser engraving, T5 heat treatment, and assembly of modules with functional testing and leak testing. Customers come from automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical and safety technology as well as other industrial sectors. More than 80 skilled workers work on 5,500 m² of production space in the new building at Roelckestraße, occupied in 2016, with an annual capacity of 800 t aluminium and 200 t zinc.
