About Analytik Aurum
Analytik Aurum is a solo service provider in Germering near Munich, specialising in the analysis of precious metal alloys. Owner Helmut Novosad, a mineralogist who studied at LMU Munich and has over 20 years of experience in the sales and marketing of technical products, examines objects made of gold, silver, platinum, palladium and rhodium by means of X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF). The service portfolio includes the determination of finenesses including alloying additives in white and yellow gold, silver and platinum alloys, the testing of jewellery for harmful admixtures such as lead, cadmium or nickel, and the appraisal of precious metal collections.
