About ANCA
ANCA is a manufacturer of CNC tool grinding machines, Motion Controls and Manufacturing Solutions with more than 1,000 employees across the group. Founded in 1974 by Pat Boland and Pat McCluskey in Melbourne, the company builds CNC grinding machines for the manufacturing and resharpening of cutting tools such as ball-nose and corner-radius end mills, drills, taps, milling cutter tips and medical devices. Production is vertically integrated: machine beds, enclosures, control and drive systems as well as design, simulation and monitoring software are produced in-house. With the MX7 ULTRA, ANCA offers a control with nanometer axis resolution and achieves form accuracies of less than +/- 0.002 mm. The MX7 ULTRA was presented in Weinheim in August 2022. Customers come from tool and mould making, aerospace, power generation, the 3C/electronics industry and medical technology. Due to its niche, ANCA exports 99% of its products to over 45 countries. ANCA Europe GmbH in Weinheim serves as the European headquarters for sales and support.
