The company emerged from the family firm Elmar Wessel Präzisionsmaschinenfabrik and has been producing in East Westphalia-Lippe for six decades. The product portfolio includes the micro-machining CNC milling machine ProSys ADV+ for various materials as well as the highly precise gantry milling and engraving machine GVM in table design, whose granite machine bed with aerostatic bearings and linear direct drives achieves a positioning accuracy of less than 1 µm and spindle speeds above 100,000 1/min. The GVM is used in particular for milling micro-cutting edges on flexible rotary stamping and embossing tools in the graphics and flexo printing industry. Customers are found in tool and die making, medical and metrology technology, and the graphics industry. Anderson Europe is part of the internationally oriented Anderson Group with production sites in Taiwan, Germany, Mexico and Brazil, and complements machine sales with service, remote maintenance, upgrades and training.
