About Anderson Europe
Anderson Europe GmbH is a manufacturer based in Detmold of CNC-controlled precision machines for micromachining. The company emerged from the family-owned Elmar Wessel precision machine factory and has been manufacturing ultra-precision milling and engraving machines in Detmold (Ostwestfalen-Lippe) for around six decades. The product portfolio includes the ProSys ADV+ micromachining machine as well as the ultra-precision GVM portal milling and engraving machine with granite bed, aerostatic bearings, linear direct drives and a positioning accuracy of less than 1 µm. The machines are used, among other things, in tool and mould making, medical and metrology technology, and the graphics industry, for example for engraving micro-knives on flexible rotary and die-cutting tools. In addition to new machine manufacturing, Anderson Europe offers service, remote maintenance, spare parts supply, upgrades and retrofits as well as training. As part of the Anderson Group with production facilities in Taiwan, Germany, Mexico and Brazil, the company is internationally positioned.
