About André Coatings
André Coatings GmbH develops, produces and distributes coatings as well as chemical and technical products. The company was founded in 2002 and continues the paint production tradition of the André group of companies, which dates back to 1885. The portfolio includes coil coating for steel and aluminium, corrosion protection coatings and coating systems for plastic and wood, including the Fungol wood paint brand. In addition, the group develops and produces chemical paint systems, ammunition coatings and sealants to German TL and US-MIL standards. From 2008 there was a joint venture with Leibfarth Lacke; in 2013 the business operations of André Coatings GmbH were acquired by Chemetall GmbH (BASF/Rockwood). Production took place at the Willstätt site; in 2014 the registered office was relocated to Achern.
