About André Frank
André Frank is a German painter, born in 1968 in Fulda, who lives with his family in the Rhön region. In his studio in Hilders, he creates paintings in oil, acrylic and mixed techniques on canvas as well as murals, glazing works and graphic art. His style is realistic, rich in colour, expressive and narrative; his subjects include scenes of a bygone era, fantasy worlds, faith, mysticism, pagan folk tradition and symbolism, often depicted through individual female figures in the context of their surroundings. This is a one-person studio without industrial production; the profile is therefore only of limited relevance for the B2B industrial marketplace. Documented exhibition participations include the Rhönsalon 2005 at the Kunststation Kleinsassen, exhibitions at the Vonderau Museum Fulda and at the Museum Tann, as well as a participation in Sergiyev Posad, Russia.
