About Wohlgemuth Elektromaschinen

Wohlgemuth Elektromaschinen is a family business founded in 1933 with its headquarters in Velbert (Mittelstr. 6-8), run as a sole proprietorship by Andreas A. Wohlgemuth. For over 90 years, the company has supplied electric motors throughout the entire Federal Republic of Germany – from small drives to large drives of up to 600 kW, with three-phase motors from stock up to 110 kW. In addition to the distribution of three-phase, DC, servo, spindle, gear, crane and elevator motors, frequency inverters, industrial pumps, blowers and ventilators, the service portfolio includes electrical and mechanical repair: rewinding of motors, magnets, coils and transformers, turning, milling and welding work, dynamic balancing, flame spraying of rolling bearing seats on request, as well as final painting, also acid-resistant. Customers include industry, trades, medium-sized production companies and industrial corporations. Partnerships exist with manufacturers such as Lenze, ABB, Siemens and SEW; own stock inventory is maintained for HOMA dirty water pumps and Brinkmann coolant pumps. A 24/7 emergency service reduces customer downtime.
