About AMF – clamping technology since 1890
Andreas Maier GmbH & Co. KG (AMF), based in Fellbach near Stuttgart, has been developing and manufacturing products for clamping, screwing and locking since 1890. The range comprises more than 5,000 products: zero-point clamping systems, hydraulic and pneumatic clamping technology, quick-release clamps, mechanical clamping elements, magnetic and vacuum clamping systems, modular fixture systems as well as clamping solutions for additive manufacturing. The programme is complemented by screwdriver tools made of chrome-vanadium steel to DIN and ISO standards, automation technology with grippers, radio sensor technology, and marking and cleaning tools. The historic business field of stainless steel (V2A) locks for doors and gates has existed since the company's founding as a lock factory. AMF manufactures in its own production facilities in Fellbach ("Made in Germany"), offers custom tools to customer specifications, tool engraving, free CAD data and consulting. Customers come from industries such as mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, aerospace, medical technology, tool and mould making, fixture construction, additive manufacturing and automation technology. With the zero-point system introduced in 2004, which reduces setup times, as well as digital radio sensor technology for Industry 4.0 and AI-supported processes, the company is aligning itself with networked manufacturing.
