About us
The company Andreas Merz Sun & Sight Protection (SSP-Merz) was newly founded on 01.04.2004 in Tangstedt and specialises in custom-made sun and privacy protection systems. The product portfolio includes pleated blinds, aluminium venetian blinds, roller blinds, vertical blinds, roller shutters, insect screens, awnings, panel blinds/festoon blinds as well as terrace roofing with and without glass. Owner Andreas Merz was, before becoming self-employed, head of department in two production areas at Arquati in Hamburg and can look back on almost 20 years of professional experience in sun and privacy protection. Only products from renowned manufacturers with high quality standards are used. Services range from free on-site consultation and millimetre-accurate measurements using ultrasonic and laser measurement to installation, instruction for self-assembly, repairs with spare parts sourcing, and ultrasonic cleaning of venetian blinds, pleated and vertical blinds. Customers come from private households and the commercial project sector, including schools, municipalities, companies and workshops in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg.
