About us
Andreas Mull Werkzeugbau und Zerspanungstechnik GmbH manufactures precision turned and milled parts in Bockenem as single parts, prototypes, pre-series and series of up to approx. 1,000,000 components per year. The service portfolio includes CNC milling (3-, 4- and 5-axis), CNC turning, CNC EDM (wire, die-sinking and micro EDM), surface and cylindrical grinding, tool and jig/fixture making, assembly of modules, 3D printing as well as quality assurance including contract measurement. Machined materials include steel (e.g. St52, 16MnCr5, C45), stainless steel (1.4305), aluminium, titanium (Ti6Al4V), plastics and magnesium – a speciality is machining magnesium from solid including surface treatment, as well as post-machining of magnesium die-cast parts. Through the sister company AM CNC-Präzisionstechnik GmbH, predominantly aluminium die castings are also machined. Customers come from the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, medical technology, aerospace, the energy industry, electronics and other sectors. Quality management has been certified to ISO 9001 since 2002 (now ISO 9001:2015). Production runs in a three-shift operation, at weekends if required.

Quality
Quality management has been certified to ISO 9001 since 2002 (now DIN EN ISO 9001:2015). Inspection is carried out, among other things, on four 3D coordinate measuring machines (Zeiss, Thome, DEA), a Keyence surface measuring device and a height gauge; contract measurement is offered.

History
Andreas Mull built up the business with one CNC milling machine, initially manufacturing single parts and prototypes; later expanded to include fixture and tool making as well as series production.
